Wedding Highlights

Grayson wore his boots to the wedding.  Somehow he was the only one who got the memo.  All day he was following me around, lifting his pant leg and putting his boot right next to mine as if to say "look! I wore my boots, Like you!"

Our very own Blog!

Her it is everyone! The moment you've all been waiting for! Chad and Katelyn's official blog has begun!

It has been 3 weeks since we got married and life is going to settle down ... any minute now...
We got married September 4th, 2010 in the Los Angeles Temple, spent the weekend in wonderful, sunny Bakersfield CA and then flew home to Spokane Washington where it was 60 degrees when we got off the plain!!! (i'm gonna climatize any minute now too...) We had 3 days before Chad went back to work and Friday night was our open house. Go to bed late and wake up early for Chad's sister, Kimberlee's wedding, followed by an afternoon reception at their parent's house. Clean up that one and drive over to the church for Kimberlee and Charlie's joint reception with Charlie's sister who had gotten married the week before us.
Lucky for us we had a week to try and get things organized before Chad started school this past week.  I started my temporary job this week too.

I went to our new ward this week all by myself since Chad's boss decided to make him go to work an hour earlier than normal.  I was a big girl and got myself up and ready to go to church for the first time without my husband in our new ward.  It wasn't so bad.  We had been attending the Greenacres ward and we have absolutely loved it.  We tried all we could to convince the Stake President that we needed special permission to stay in that ward.  No luck... :(

Since Chad wont be home until 2 I thought this would be a good time to actually put stuff on the blog I made 2 weeks ago.  I'm not sure how good i'll be at updating it but I'm sure with the majority of my family being a good distance away, they will keep reminding me to keep up with it.

I'll be sure to get some pictures posted soon too.
